Well my heart won and I gave him the rock. A few months later I received a box at work. When I opened it the rock and a note were inside. The note was from his mother. He had passed away. She talked about how much joy that rock, a silly piece of fools gold, had given him and how he thought it was so cool how I just let him have it. I still have great first memories of that rock and the trip but, my second set of memories and how it made me feel about myself are so much better. I guess my point is having things is great but, in giving to others and what you get back are even better. I want to find someone who feels the same way about life.
