Two of my great passions in life are travel and photography. I believe that travel broadens one's view of the world. Experiencing other cultures, meeting people from other communities and other countries and seeing the beauty, and sometimes ugliness, of the world has helped me understand that all of our lives are at once interconnected and individual. It has made me better appreciate my own home and culture, as well as that of the people I've met and the lands I've seen and I, have become a much more tolerant person as a result. Through my photography, I seek to document my own personal experiences, to capture scenes and events as I see them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world I've seen. As the images of other photographers have inspired me to explore the world, I hope my own contributions will inspire others to do the same. I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision. I am a man of action, often traveling the world. I have been known to remodel electrical power stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of flux capacitors to capacitate. I manage time efficiently so never to be late. Occasionally, I run in place for three days in a row so as not to get bored. I can cook One Hour Pound Cake in forty-five minutes. I am an expert in gypsum, a proficient in love, I play bluegrass banjo, I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I'm bored, I build large model airplane hangers in my yard. I enjoy urban power walking. On Thursdays, after work, I repair electrical appliances free of charge. I am an abstract artist, People worldwide swoon over my original line of velvet evening wear. I don't perspire. I am a private citizen, yet I receive a lot of fan emails. One summer I toured Upstate New York with a traveling outlaw bicycle club. With my Lladro, sculpture collection, I have earned me fame in international handcrafted porcelain circles. Women trust me. I can hurl badminton rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed several covert operations with the CIA. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. While on vacation in Canada, I successfully negotiated with a group of terrorists who had seized a small bakery. I balance, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. I have made extraordinary four-course meals using only a mouli and a toaster oven. I breed prizewinning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan, cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka. I have met Elvis.
